After 35 years Akau Framing has closed its doors.

From the beginning in 1990, at 720 Queen Street West, to their final home on Queen West, it’s been their honour to have been even a small part of the vibrant arts community.

On February 21, 2026 they’ll be having their closing party from 3 to 7pm to celebrate the great years and to say thank you.

They are also having their final art sale of works collected through the years. Works by Stephen Andrews, Micah Lexier, Ron Giii, Howard Lonn, Jay Isaac, Ric Evans, and many more will be available.
