Onsite Gallery is launching an 88-page hardcover publication accompanying the exhibition Rosalie Favell | Belonging (1982–2024). Designed by Tomas Chaggaris, this beautifully crafted book showcases the stunning and significant works featured in the exhibition, reflecting the remarkable scope and depth of Favell’s forty-year lens-based practice.
The publication includes an introduction and curatorial text by Onsite Gallery’s Executive Director and exhibition curator, Ryan Rice, as well as insightful short essays and reflections by leading scholars, artists and curators Michelle McGeough, Cathy Mattes, Sherry Farrell-Racette, Wanda Nanibush, Jessie Ray Short, Melissa Bennett, and Rosalie Favell.
With DJ Classic Roots in attendance to spin tunes throughout the afternoon, join us for a special opportunity to purchase a copy of Rosalie Favell | Belonging (1982–2024) and have it signed by artist Rosalie Favell. Exhibition catalogues will be available on a pay-what-you-choose basis (minimum $25). Don’t miss this first chance to take home a noteworthy publication and connect with the artist herself!

Tote Bag Calligraphy Workshop with Nestor
Saturday, December 6, 11am – 1pm

Spend a relaxing and inspiring afternoon developing new artistic skills and creating your own lettering art. With the purchase of an Onsite Gallery tote bag (minimum donation of $15), you can participate in a 3-hour workshop where you’ll customize your own tote while learning the fundamentals of calligraphy. In this workshop, offered under the expert guidance of calligrapher Nestor (who also designed the tote bag), you’ll learn to create elegant Textura Gothic style letterforms with ease.
Whether you’re looking to enhance your creative practice or simply enjoy a mindful, hands-on activity, this workshop offers the perfect introduction to the timeless craft of calligraphy. All materials are provided, and no prior experience is required.
Onsite Gallery will be closed from Sunday, December 7, 2025, to Wednesday, January 21, 2026.
