Call for Submissions: space* Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition & Rooftop Installation

Moose Sculpture by Charles Pachter
Call for Entry: Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition in Mono, Ontario & Rooftop Satellite Installation in Downtown Toronto
Extended Deadline to Apply: September 30, 2025
Exhibition Duration: 1 to 3 years
Primary Site: Sculpture Garden, Mono, Ontario
Satellite Site: Rooftop of space*, Toronto, Ontario
Overview
Space* invites local, national, and international artists to submit proposals for an ambitious outdoor sculpture exhibition across two unique sites: a non-for-profit sculpture garden in Mono, Ontario and the rooftop of space*, a vibrant cultural venue in downtown Toronto.
This open-air exhibition is designed to showcase sculptural works that respond to natural landscapes, architectural environments, or urban rooftop settings. We welcome bold, thought-provoking, and site-responsive pieces that will remain on view for a period ranging from one to three years.
In addition to public access through monthly/bi-monthly art-related events and private showings (available upon booking), the exhibition will provide artists with ongoing opportunities for exposure and engagement.
Artist Fees & Commission
- A select number of artists chosen for the exhibition will receive an artist fee.
- space* operates on a commission model: if a sculpture is sold during or after the exhibition, a percentage of the sale will go to space* to support programming, with the remainder going to the artist.
Eligibility
- Open to professional and emerging artists worldwide.
- Works must be suitable for extended outdoor exposure.
- Artists may submit for either or both sites.
- Collaborative submissions are welcome.
