Call for Entry: NPCC’s Be Creative Pride Exhibition
Submission Deadline: April 14, 2025
Exhibition Dates: June 17 – July 5, 2025
Awards Ceremony and Reception: Friday, June 20, 2025 at 7 pm during NPCC’s Pride Event from 6 pm to 9 pm
Neilson Park Creative Centre (NPCC) invites youth and adults who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+ community members to submit up to two artworks to NPCC’s Pride Month Juried Exhibition.
The theme for this year’s exhibition is “Be Creative”. Be Creative, Be You, Be All In! Two-dimensional artwork in any medium is welcome. Entry is free of charge.
Awards
Youth Category 12 years to 17 years old
First Prize $200
Second Prize $100
Adult Category 18+ years old
First Prize $500
Second Prize $300
Third Prize $200
Two Honourable Mentions $100 each
Selection Process
- All submitted artworks will be juried by NPCC’s Pride Committee members.
- Decisions will be made on the digital images submitted by the artist.
- Juror, Kat Honey, will choose and announce the award winners on June 20, 2025. For more information on our juror, visit here.
- The juror’s decision is final.
- Selected artists will be notified by email by April 25, 2025 of acceptance into the exhibition.
- NPCC reserves the right to use submitted images for publicity purposes.
Submission Requirements
- Artists who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+ community members.
- Each artist may submit up to two 2-D artworks in any medium.
