Call for Submissions: Ottawa School of Art – 10th International Miniature Print Biennale Exhibition

The Ottawa School of Art (OSA) ByWard Market Campus is organizing its 10th International Miniature Print Biennale Exhibition that will run from March 20 to May 11, 2025.

Open to all professional artists; prints must be made with generally accepted graphic techniques and have been produced since January 1, 2022. The deadline for submitting works is February 28, 2025, 5:00 pm (EST) and submission entry fees must be received in order for work to be accepted. Non-refundable fees cover return postage of the prints, and are as follows:
- $25 CAD, for the first work and;
- $10 CAD for each additional work (4 artworks maximum)
- OSA encourages payment through Eventbrite. Payment can also be made by Canadian or International money order, or International Bank Draft.
- Maximum dimension of print image: 10 cm x 10 cm.
- Maximum dimension of matrix, (paper, cloth, etc.): 20 cm x 20 cm.
- Maximum dimension of plain white matt board, (“passe-partout”) and backing board: 25 cm x 25 cm.
Entry packages must include:
- The completed entry form;
- The works being presented to the jury;
- The entry fees or Eventbrite payment confirmation page;
- The artist’s résumé, (maximum 1 page);
- A short statement about the work submitted, (maximum 75 words).
Deadline for Submissions: February 28, 2025, 5:00pm (EST) and submission entry fees must be received in order for work to be accepted.

About the Ottawa School of Art
The Ottawa School of Art (OSA) offers a full range of specialized art courses including lifedrawing, landscape painting, photography, ceramics, sculpture, lithography, watercolour, etching, printmaking, and a wide variety of specialized short courses and workshops. Children’s and Teens’ classes range from multi-media to animation and cartooning, sculpture and construction, pottery, drawing and painting. In addition to art courses, the OSA’s programs have grown to include visiting artist-in-residence workshops, a professional exhibitions gallery (which hosts solo and groups shows by local, national and international artists), a non-for-credit Arts Fundamentals Certificate, a one-year Portfolio Development Program and a 3-year Diploma Program.
