Art With Heart, presented by TD Bank Group, returns Tuesday, October 8 to the historic Carlu. Join one of the nation’s most beloved charity auctions of Canadian contemporary art as we raise funds for Casey House, Canada’s only stand-alone hospital that provides compassionate health care for people living with and at risk of HIV.

This annual event has been a Casey House staple for over 30 years and is a highly anticipated gathering for artists, gallerists, curators, collectors, and art lovers alike. Participating helps invest in the future of an HIV-specialty hospital and its ground-breaking model of care.

This year’s Art With Heart collection features artists from across the country spanning different mediums, including painting, photography, print, ceramics, and more. There is also a limited-edition print, Riff by Meaghan Hyckie, available in four distinct variants.

With 76 artists participating in the live and silent auctions, Art With Heart proves to be an industry launchpad for emerging artists, and an autumnal rite of passage for experienced artists. Notably, renowned contemporary photographer Edward Burtynsky’s stunning Coast Mountains #15, Receding Glacier, British Columbia, Canada will be up for sale. Burtynsky’s breathtaking large-format photographs offer viewers transformative encounters with the intensive environmental consequences of human industrial activity. Through his lens we have come to grasp the sheer scale of our permanent impact on the earth and Burtynsky has referred to his stunning, socially committed photographs as “reflecting pools of our times.” Coast Mountains #15, Receding Glacier, British Columbia, Canada transforms a receding glacier into a visually spectacular meditation on geologic time in the face of our rapidly changing world.
