Elevate your public art career and gain experience by joining the Public Art Affiliates Network! As a Project Coordinator or Production Staff, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to inspiring public art projects across Canada by supporting the delivery of our programs and services on an as-needed basis. While project availability may vary and is not guaranteed, network members enjoy priority consideration for exciting new projects and roles across Canada.
This is a paid opportunity to expand your professional network, gain valuable experience, and collaborate with a dynamic organization dedicated to enriching communities through art.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage public art projects from inception to completion
- Provide production support for large cultural events and public art installations
- Engage with diverse communities to ensure inclusive project execution
- Collaborate with artists, stakeholders, and community members
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project coordination and production support, preferably in the public art or cultural sector on an as-needed basis
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Specialized skills or expertise in areas, such as Indigenous engagement, working with the disability community, bilingualism and technical production (e.g. new media projects, large cultural events) are considered assets
