During this 3-day workshop for teens ages 14 to 18, artist Andrew Sookrah—one of our most popular instructors!—will introduce students to the vibrant and versatile world of acrylic painting, giving them the tools to experiment with the subjects and styles of their choice. Topics covered include mastering perspective, reflections in water, patterns, texture, skies and clouds, dramatic light, depth and negative space, with special attention given to basic drawing techniques such as composition, color, texture, and effective brushstrokes. This class is guaranteed to provide a creative way to unwind and refocus over winter break.

This workshop is open to all skill levels.
