Online Oil Painting Art Classes at the McMichael

This six-week virtual studio program led by professional artist Judy Sherman is perfect for artists working to refine their oil painting technique in the subjects and styles of their choice. Sherman will use live demonstrations and individual mentorship to assist participants as they create. Students will learn how to use an artist’s perspective along with various tools to unlock their personal potential. Sherman will introduce and review topics including value, composition, colour, shape, form, lighting and more. Oil painting beginners and veterans alike will discover new skills and improve their technique under the guidance of a skilled visual artist.
