Ronald Bloore: Black and White
January 31 – May 28, 2019
This exhibition explores compositional space created by a leading member of the Regina Five; a group of artists who challenged the conventions of Canadian abstract painting during the 1960s. This selection of works brings together a lesser known vein of the artist’s career and provides PAMA with an opportunity to research and present new ideas to you on this body of work. This series of drawings shows Bloore maintaining his structural compositional focus while emphasizing a hard-edged approach to abstract forms.
