1. Grow Op 2020: The Gladstone Hotel’s Annual Exhibition on the Environment, Urbanism, and Ecology

Exhibition Dates: March 12-15, 2020

Grow Op is an annual 3-day eco-art exhibition created and produced by the Gladstone Hotel. The 8th annual Grow Op happens March 12-15, 2020, and considers ideas around weather. We invite artists to submit proposals as individuals or collectives; multidisciplinary teams are encouraged. This call is open to Canadian and international participants.

2. CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: Meeting Room/Flex Space Activation

Application deadline: Wednesday December 4, 2019 at noon.

The Gladstone Hotel presents its 2nd annual opportunity for an individual artist or collective to create a contemporary art/design-based project to activate and enhance a meeting/lounge space on our second floor.

Specifically, we are looking for an artist/designer to create a thoughtful, artistic and beautiful environment for people to gather, collaborate, and work and celebrate.

The project will be launched at Come Up To My Room (January 16-19, 2020) and installed for 6-12 months.

The Gladstone will pay an artist honourarium of $2000 to the selected artist(s)/designer(s).
