Deadline for Entry: Wednesday Nov. 6, 2019
Artwork Drop-off: Tuesday Nov. 12, 2019, 12–2pm and 6–8pm
Artwork Pick-up: Sunday Nov. 24, 2019, 4:30–5:30pm
Opening Reception & Awards Ceremony: Saturday Nov. 16, 2019, 2-4pm
Show Continues: Nov. 16 – 17 & 23 – 24, 2019, 12-4pm

Awards:
Best in Show, Best in Categories (works by 3 different artists in a medium qualifies as a category), Honourable Mentions, Peoples’ Choice

Terms of Entry:

• Open to all residents of Ontario 18 years of age and older
• Applicants may submit up to 3 works
• Works may be in any media
• Works must be original and not based on another’s work. Photos may be used as a reference, but not replicated as complete copies. Works must not be reproductions.
• Works must not have been previously shown at Franklin Carmichael Art Centre
• Wet paintings, faulty wires, insecure frames and unfinished sides of canvases will not be accepted.
• Entry fees are non-refundable ($30 member, $35 non-member)
• 15% commission on all sales. Purchasers will make their cheques payable to FCAG directly and then the artist will be paid the price of the painting minus the 15% commission. A cheque will be processed for the artist within 10 days.
• Artist should provide extra insurance at their discretion
• FCAG volunteers will install artwork. All reasonable care will be given.
• Your work may be photographed by FCAG

Franklin Carmichael Art Group is a charitable not-for-profit organization, founded in 1952 by the late Dr Agnes Ann Curtin, whose mission is to provide art instruction and exhibition space in North Etobicoke.
