Miruna Dragan is a visual artist and Associate Professor at the Alberta College of Art & Design. She has shown internationally in the US, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Germany, UK, Lebanon, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. Her exhibitions in Canada include The Esker Foundation in Calgary (2013), G Gallery in Toronto (2014), Nanaimo Art Gallery (2015), Unit/Pitt in Vancouver (2016), and The Alberta Biennial (2013 & 2017). Her solo exhibition Another Name For Everywhere is currently on view at the Southern Alberta Art Gallery until February 4th.

Earth as enterable body. I had a weird feeling in my body one night and went to the hospital to get some tests. It occurred to me: how odd that I can't just know exactly what is happening under my own skin... and maybe not even through these probing machines.
