Call for Submissions – Visual Artwork
Artwork for the Common Interior Spaces of a Rental Building in Regent Park

Chartwell and The Daniels Corporation are currently accepting proposals to be considered for several commission opportunities for engaging, visual artwork pieces. These artwork is to be purchased/commissioned for common amenity areas within The Sumach by Chartwell.

The Sumach by Chartwell is a new rental concept for active semi/retired people. The Sumach by Chartwell will be a state-of-the-art urban development located in the vibrant Regent Park neighbourhood. The suites will be geared towards active retired adults looking for a maintenance-free lifestyle.

The project partners understand that each new community is a work of art. From conception through to completion, the building has been designed to enhance its surroundings and the community. For The Sumach by Chartwell, there is a focus on sourcing interior décor locally and integrating mixed artwork mediums and styles to help tell the story of the building’s unique character.

Each piece does not need to incorporate all of the above-noted characteristics to be considered.
