CALL FOR PROPOSALS AND JURIED ART SHOW SUBMISSION
STOREFRONT GALLERY AT ARTS ETOBICOKE

The Storefront Gallery of Arts Etobicoke is seeking Proposals for Exhibitions from artists, collectives and curators at all levels of their careers for the 2018-2019 gallery season and for submissions for the Fall Juried Art Show. We welcome proposals from artists exhibiting in all genres, but artists must live or work in Etobicoke.

Prizes for the Juried Art Show include: a solo show at the gallery for the winner and a $500 cash award. Two additional merit awards will be handed out of $250 each.

The Storefront Gallery at Arts Etobicoke is located at 4893a Dundas St. West, Etobicoke.

CALL FOR PROPOSALS

Applications must include:

  • Description of your proposed exhibition (300-word max)
  • Artist bio (300-word max)
  • Artist CV
  • 3 - 5 photos

Deadline for submissions is September 14, 2018.

Applicants must be members of Arts Etobicoke to apply. Annual membership allows members to apply to two annual Juried Art Exhibitions and privileged access to free classes, workshops and lectures.

JURIED ART SHOW

The Storefront Gallery at Arts Etobicoke is seeking submissions for its Fall Juried Show, entitled The ‘NEW’ Exhibition. The competition is open to artists in any genre who are living or working in Etobicoke.

This years jurors are:

1) Melissa Poliah, General Manager, Mayberry Fine Arts.
2) Tazeen Qayyum, Contemporary Artist.
3) Astrid Ho, Contemporary Artist.

Artists are permitted to submit up to three works. Applicants must be members of Arts Etobicoke to apply. Annual membership includes access to the Call for Submissions for the Fall and Spring Juried Art Show and priority access to free art classes, workshops and lectures.

Deadline for submissions is September 14, 2018, 4pm

The exhibition will run from November 5 - Dec. 19, 2018, with an opening reception on Wednesday, November 14.
