Meet Akimbo’s New Akimblog Writers

Akimbo is excited to welcome four new critics to our editorial team. Akimblog is an independent publishing arm of Akimbo that features art writers from across Canada. Beginning in March, our new writers will be covering exhibitions in Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton and Western Ontario. Look out for their reviews in our weekly Akimblog email blasts, released each Thursday.

Letticia Cosbert: Toronto
Letticia Cosbert is a Toronto based writer and editor and is currently the Digital Content Coordinator at the Koffler Centre of the Arts. Letticia studied Classics, earning a B.A. from the University of Toronto, and an M.A. from Western University, where she specialized in erotic Latin poetry. Her writing and editorial work has been featured in Ephemera Magazine, Sophomore Magazine, The Ethnic Aisle, and publications by Katzman Contemporary, Younger Than Beyonce Gallery, Xpace, and Trinity Square Video.

Michael Davidge: Ottawa
Michael Davidge is an artist, writer, and independent curator who lives in Ottawa, Ontario. His writing on art and culture has appeared in Border Crossings, BlackFlash, and C Magazine, among other publications.

Kim Neudorf: Western Ontario
Kim Neudorf is an artist and writer based in London, Ontario. Her writing and paintings have appeared most recently at DNA Gallery and Forest City Gallery in London, Paul Petro and Franz Kaka in Toronto, and Modern Fuel Artist-Run Centre in Kingston.

Stephanie Vegh: Hamilton
Stephanie Vegh is an artist and writer who studied Studio Art and Comparative Literature at McMaster University, and completed her MFA at the Glasgow School of Art. She has exhibited her work in the UK and Canada, and publishes art writing and criticism both locally and nationally. She maintains an active profile in regional arts advocacy, and currently serves as Manager, Media and Communications at the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery.
