TORONTO SCHOOL OF ART fosters the inherent capabilities of its students through an education model that revolves around artists teaching artists to help them make their mark.

TSA is the city's longest-running independent art school. Enrol in a course and enjoy:

  • Small class sizes;
  • Individual attention and guidance from faculty;
  • Free Open Studio sessions for current students to work independently outside of class time (contact the office to confirm studio availability);

Start dates range from February 7-26, plus a March Break Intensive for Teens running March 12-16.​ ​This series of condensed yet comprehensive courses offer students an opportunity to further hone their craft in a shorter, more accessible time frame.​

  • Introduction to Drawing with Pearl Van Geest

OPEN LIFE DRAWING AND PAINTING
TSA offers drop-in opportunities to work on your observation skills and technique with ​weekly ​uninstructed life drawing and painting sessions​.

No registration necessary. $15 at the door, or purchase a 5-session pass for $60.
Monday and Friday evenings, 6pm-9pm​.
