Gabriela Jolowicz, Houseboat, 2016, woodcut, 27.56” x 35.43”.
Gabriela Jolowicz is a woodcut artist from Germany. She completed her diploma and post-graduate studies at the Academy of Visual Arts, Leipzig. Her works have been exhibited in Mexico, USA, Canada, Germany, France, England, Italy, Thailand, China, Serbia, Poland and the Netherlands.
Gabriela Jolowicz captures fleeting scenes of everyday life in one of the oldest and most traditional visual media, the woodcut. Depicting modern still life images and dense scenes of metropolitan life, Jolowicz freezes an already fading afterimage of reality in a disjointed and kaleidoscopic manner. MORE

Iza Campos: You Are Listening
George Gilmour Members’ Gallery
Iza Campos began her art education as an apprentice painter in São Paulo, Brazil at the age of eight. Her practice includes international exhibitions and residencies in Czech Republic, USA, Brazil, and most recently, Canary Islands, Spain.
Campos’ work is symbolic, placed between representational and abstract, looking to construct meaning on the relativity of colours’ interactions and simplified forms. Symbolism resonates in her practice as unveiled through her fascination with violinists. Since 2015, Campos has been exploring “female violinists” as a theme. MORE
